One week from today, I’ll be at Dragon*con in Atlanta, standing in lines, parading costumes, groaning over merchandise I can’t afford. But I’ll also be periodically handing out these little guys with my friends - matte finish mini cards featuring either the iconic flight wings from Palatine…

Made more progress on the CPT A shield today.
-used a scour pad and a ‘compass’ of sorts to etch a light circular pattern into the shield
-taped the shield
-applied a vinyl circle from our cutter (because I wanted it to be precise) and then made another ‘compass’ to draw concentric circles
-used an exacto knife to score and remove tape
-spray painted the red portion
And I think it’s looking good! I will let it cure 24 hours and then do the blue.
Look how shiny.
