Some official-y shots of Lopti with her tesseract, made completely by thordogofthunder. We only had a few minutes to snap these this morning, but I’m glad we managed to grab them…thing looks so cool in the dark. Sif’s fingertips scraped without purchase over the bottom of the ice as she dragged along beneath it, caught in the swilling currents of the restless lake. The darkness of the water was dizzying, endless, and what little light came through the ice was muted and grey, snuffed out by the presence of snow on the topside. Everything was too loud in her ears, but garbled - even the sound of her own racing heartbeat. Keeping calm was her only real defense; the calmer she kept, the more air she saved, and the longer she could last. She tried smashing her fists against the ice, but without any real leverage and the water tugging her insistently along, her fists just thumped ineffectually, a sound like low drums in her ears.
something i intend to finish… eventually. was listening to Sonic Youth and it inspired a dramatic Loki.
There are a bunch more of these that you’ll be able to see over on Lopti’s page soon enough (I’m e-mailing them to her right now and it’s taking aggessss), but I wanted to do a master post with a few that I’m especially happy with. I even made a guest appearance in a few of the pics, so you’ll be seeing my derpy face for once. :)
This shoot might have been my favorite yet. Just a quick peek. I might have to make a master post of all my favorites from across the ages. :) Lopti will have the rest soon.
